At 2Me Clinic we can treat your acute Primary Care needs without going to see a separate General Practitioner.  We have experienced General Practitioners offering consultations that cover a range of health conditions:

Acne: Topical and oral treatments can be prescribed.  Please note that we do not offer ‘compounded’ treatments or oral Roaccutane.  You can read more about acne by visiting the following link to the Primary Care Dermatology Society:

Abdominal and Digestive problems:  There are many causes of abdominal pain.  These can include digestive problems such as reflux, gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcers, and constipation.  Abdominal pain can also be pelvic, or bladder related.  We will be able to arrange appropriate investigations and treatment where necessary and refer to appropriate specialists.

Blood pressure checks: We carry out blood pressure checks to support the management of chronic conditions such as Hypertension.  We are also able to prescribe blood pressure medication to optimise blood pressure control where necessary.

Cold and Flu: Colds and Flu are caused by viruses so remember antibiotics won’t make it better as antibiotics are only effective against bacterial infections!  In most cases, supportive management is all that is needed.  Some groups of people may be at risk of developing complications such as chest infections.  These include the very young and elderly, those with a long-term medical condition – for example, diabetes, or a heart, lung, or kidney condition, and those with a weakened immune system – for example, those having chemotherapy or on long term steroids. Ear, nose, and throat problems: Symptoms range from ear pain, dizziness, difficulty in swallowing, throat pain and reflux, hoarseness, hearing impediment, facial pain, and sinusitis.  Please note that we do not carry out ear syringing, audiology assessments for hearing impediment or removal of foreign bodies from the ear

Headache and migraine: Headaches are very common, and most people get them. These are usually tension-type headaches.  However, some headaches can be due to a specific headache group called ‘Migraine’ or can be due to other medical conditions. The main difference is the cause of the headache and the range and severity of symptoms. You can read more about headache and migraine by visiting the following links from the Migraine Trust:

Mental Health: Not only do we offer a sympathetic listening ear, but we can also prescribe medication to treat mental health conditions such as low mood, depression, and anxiety.

At 2Me Clinic we offer Psychotherapy and Counselling with an experienced Psychotherapist. To find out more about our Psychotherapy service visit our website: https://2meclinic.com/services/primary-care/

Please NOTE that we do not prescribe the following medication: sleeping pills (such as, zopiclone, and benzos which include diazepam, lorazepam, temazepam, alprazolam), amphetamines, and opiates/opioids (such as oxycodone/oxycontin, dihydrocodeine, tramadol, morphine, fentanyl, buprenorphine).  We do not provide interventions for drug and alcohol misuse.

Psychotherapy support services

The Mental Health Crisis Line (in your area) offers emotional support and advice to people who are affected by urgent mental health issues, at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year. Other support services include the Samaritans on 116 234 available for free at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year.   The Samaritans give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others.  They help to prevent a crisis as well as support for the moment of crisis.

Skin rashes: Skin rashes come in many different forms.  The distribution, pattern, colour, feel, shape, size, duration, triggers, exacerbating and relieving factors, as well as other associated symptoms can help determine the cause.  Sometimes additional investigations such as blood tests, skin scrapings, and the use of a microscope called a ‘dermatoscope’ can further help to make a diagnosis.  Please note that we do not remove skin lesions/moles or provide a mole mapping service but can refer to appropriate specialist.

Urinary tract infections: Many women have experienced the symptoms of a urine infection at some stage. Urine infections are commonly caused by bacteria and can cause a wide range of symptoms depending on where the infection is in the urinary tract system.  We can offer treatment based on your symptoms alone, however, the gold standard treatment is that which is guided by lab results.  For more information on urinary tract infections, visit our ‘health advice’ section by following the link:
