Alternative therapy for your health and wellbeing

Acupuncture is a treatment derived from ancient Chinese Medicine. It is considered a form of complementary or alternative medicine.  Our Acupuncturist, Sophie, looks at all aspects of your health and lifestyle in order to tailor your unique and personalised treatment. In her practice, she draws on a variety of techniques including needling, cupping, moxibustion, tuina massage, and auriculo-therapy. She offers dietary and lifestyle advice all based on traditional Chinese Medicine theories to support and complement your treatment.

NEW at 2Me Clinic / COIL FITTING PAIN MANAGEMENT:

A one off ACUPUNCTURE  session can be booked prior to the coil fitting appointment. It may help you to decrease stress and anxiety before the procedure and have a better control of the pain.  Specific acupuncture points are stimulated, telling the brain to release beta-endorphins, our body’s natural opioid. This leads to a reduction in pain response.

She aims at creating a supportive, calm and friendly environment to help you improve your general wellbeing and feel your best.

Acupuncture and coil fitting: A one off acupuncture Session – 30 mins

You can book an acupuncture session just before your coil insertion procedure. The 30 min acupuncture treatment uses a combination of body and ear acupuncture to prepare you naturally for your coil insertion session. It relaxes your body, reduces anxiety and acts as an adjunct to pain management just before your coil fitting procedure. Specific acupuncture points are stimulated, telling the brain to release beta-endorphins, our body’s natural opioid. This leads to a reduction in pain response.
